Results from the local body elections in Karachi and Hyderabad

The second phase of the local government elections in several Sindh districts, including Karachi and Hyderabad, have concluded at 5 p.m.

Unofficial results have begun to pour in from all polling stations as the counting of votes begins.

Except for a few polling places where the process began with a delay, the voting process began at 8 a.m. across the two divisions and ended at the scheduled times.

Many political parties expressed displeasure and demanded that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) extend the polling time as the process began late at some of the polling stations as hundreds of thousands of people, including women, young people, and the elderly, headed to the polls to elect their local representatives.
