Fact-Check: Imran Khan made five false claims about the JIT

Last week, previous state head Imran Khan made a few cases connected with the discoveries of the Joint Examination Group (JIT), including that it has tracked down proof to propose that three shooters were available on the day Khan was gone after.

The assertion is false.
Fact-Check: Imran Khan made five false claims about the JIT

Claim:

In a televised speech on January 5, Imran Khan, who is also chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), claimed that the Punjab government's November 15-constituted JIT had revealed the following:

On November 3, Khan and the PTI gathering were hit by three gunmen.

Naveed, the principal accused, was the real target of the gunmen, so Moazzam's death was an accident.

- The polygraph test demonstrated that Naveed lied about having only one other contact. Khan said that the attack was part of a bigger plan.
- Additionally, Naveed lied about not having received any firearms training. He was a skilled shooter, Khan said.

The JIT findings have disproved the claim that the attacker, Naveed, was motivated by religious beliefs.

The JIT's findings have all been presented to the court.
